Social Media has become an important part of most fans’ days when sharing their excitement about seeing their favorite team play. And when the schools themselves get into it on Twitter, the result is unmatched in giving fans extra fuel for their fire.
Before their meeting for the Sweet Sixteen, Butler and UNC engaged in friendly banter as the two prepared for their match-up in Memphis. It started on National Puppy Day with Butler showing off puppy pictures of their Mascot, Blue, and asking fans to engage in the celebration. UNC decided to chime in and the rest was Twitter gold, ending with a “Bless Your Heart”.
