NCAA student-athletes frequently complain about having to go to bed hungry. Making matters worse, they appear to have no trouble knowing when it’s bed time, based on the blinged out watches they were wearing at ACC Kickoff.

Here’s the All-ACC wrist-wear team, celebrating the best way to spend that full-cost-of-attendance stipend:

MVP: Tyler Hayworth, Wake Forest

It was oversized, powerful and a little awkward, just like Hayworth himself. The battleship-sized timepiece was an attention-getter, plus, it allowed Hayworth to get his weight-lifting in while he was at media day.

Runner up: Ejuan Price, Pitt

Large and gold, it was hard to miss the defensive end’s wrist-wear. Bright and classy without being too over-the-top.

The rest of the “What time is it” All-Stars:

Deshaun Watson, Clemsonwatson 2

He had a watch worthy of the Wrist Heisman, but Watson realizes that it’s not an individual game. He accessorized the large-faced, modern gold watch with a gold chain on the other hand, along with other less flashy bracelets.

Watson completed the presentation with two gold necklaces draped over his tie and four lapel pins.
